Join us in a step down memory lane as we take a look at the shirts from the 2001/02 premier league season.
Worn across two seasons from 2000 to 2002 - It's a classic nike design that screams out oldschool (mainly because of the dreamcast sponsor). A sought after shirt by gunners fans, as it was the last shirt to have the old badge. For that reason we're a big fan .
Chelsea, like Arsenal, opted for a classic early 00's collar for this one. Released for the 2001/02 and 2002/03 seasons, there's not a lot to complain about as it ticks all the boxes in terms of a nice retro design.
Liverpool, also went for the collar design during this campaign. Worn from 2000, this nice Reebok number is nou doubt fondly looked back on by Reds fans as it was the shrt worn in their infamous treble winning campaign the season before. For that reason alone, it'll be perceived as a classic for years to come.
Similarly to Arsenal and Liverpool, Manchester United wore this umbro shirt a season before 2001/02. It marked an era for united as they ended their years with sharp as their sponsor and this was to be the final shirt manufactured by umbro. It's perhaps not as iconic as the previous treble winning shirt - yet still a decent effort from the red devils.
Bit of a hidden gem this one from Spurs. Worn only in the 2001/02 season, Adidas pulled it out the bag with a cracking v neck design - and let's be honest, any spurs shirt with the Holsten sponsor is an iconic one. Top stuff.
