Premier League Iconic kit number 1: Chelsea away 1992/94

First up on our look at the most Iconic Kits of the Premier League era is Chelsea's simple, yet classy away shirt from 1992. Made by Umbro and featuring a classic, early 90s style drawstring - it's red pin stripe design gives it a uncluttered, smart look in an era that is famous for brash, crazy patterns.

Chelsea weren't quite the force they are today in this shirt, however we really like it and would be the first to sign any petition 'to bring back the drawstring' - which probably won't happen.

Glenn Hoddle is likely to come to mind in this cracker, as he notched a handful of appearances in the twilight years of his career - but during a time when Craig Burley and Andy Myers were the key men on the field for the Blues, perhaps it's one for the diehard to admire, opposed to the lustful, nostalgic blues fan who has more recently seen better times.
